SELF CONTAINED TOILET HIRE - EXPLAINATION - CLICK HERE TO READ FURTHER Whilst all self contained toilet units are not the same, generally it is a misconception that these units are fully self sufficient and that they do not need any services to work.
Self contained toilet units comprise a central holding tank for tap water - This, more often than not, is insufficient to last the whole event, so the unit should be connected to a mains water supply via a hospipe to ensure that this water never runs out.
Self contained units, use pumps and filters to recirculate the water and fill up the cisterns. As a result the units must be connected to a power supply.
In order to ensure that the units retain the highest capcacity possible, some of our units have been adapted so that the tap water does not drain into the central holding tank as it is used. This usually drains onto the grass where the unit stands or can be piped away.
