Information |
| Unit Type |
mains connected
|
Mains connected units are connected to both mains water
and drainage. They operate like a standard wc with fresh water
flush and discharge into a sewer or waste tank. Power is only
needed for operation of lighting and or hot water / heating
where available
|
| |
self contained recirculating
|
Self contained recirculating units are chemical toilets
with a holding tank underneath. They use electric pumps
to filter and pump the liquid around the system and all
toilet waste is collected in the central holding tank. These
units require power to operate and where possible should
also be connected to water to fill basin tanks.
|
| |
hand pump self contained trailer
|
Self contained hand pump units operate in the same manner
as recirculating units except that the flushing mechanism
is hand pump operated instead of electric. No services are
required for this type of unit although power for lighting
is optional.
|
| |
hand pump - single unit
|
Single hand pump units for sites have a 45 gallon holding
tank with a hand pump flush mechanism. This recirculates
the water and chemical around the wc. Single units require
no services to operate.
|
| |
straight drop
|
Straight drop chemical toilets are the most basic with
no flush mechanism. They require no services to operate.
|
| |
Shower
|
Shower units are mains connected and will need both water
and waste connection to either a tank or mains sewer. Power
is needed for lighting only as the units are all gas operated
(using propane bottles)

Suitability
|
recommended for
|
The units can be used for any purpose you wish however
the smaller units have limitations not just in the number
of facilities, but in the case of self contained units,
in the capacity of the tanks. We have therefore included
guidelines as to how many people the units are suitable
for and the maximum we feel that should be using one unit.
Please note this is based on private events not larger events
where you can hire less units for more people.

This section covers what services the units require. Please
note that although units require some services to work,
we can of course supply water tanks, bowsers, pumps and
